Undergraduate Degree in Businesss Administration and Mangement

Overview

The Undergraduate Degree in Businesss Administration and Mangement will commence at USAL in the 2010-11 academic year, once it has passed the verification process (ANECA amd The Univerity Council).

This degree provides a high degree of entrepreneurial economic formation, deepening the applied aspects of business economics, economic and financial management and accounting and business management. It is made up of 7 modules: 1) Marketing and Market Research, 2) Accounting, 3) Economic and legal environment, 4) Finance, 5) Fundamental economics and quantitative methods, 6) and Business Organisation and 7) Supervised Work Placement and Final Year Project.

The degree lasts 4 years (60 ECTS credits per year, 240 to complete overall) and is made up of semester long modules. The Final Year Project can be presented by students who exceed the remaining 228 credits and are therefore offered the final year of the degree. The elective modules are planned in the last two semesters of the degree, usaully in the first and second semester of the fourth year. The remaining (core and compulsory) subjects are planned in the first semesters. These must be attended by students, during both semsters of first, second and third year. In 4th year students can do a voluntary work placement during both the first and the second semester for 18 credits.
