Nowadays, biotechnology is one of the main branches of scientific and technological development. This Master programme is connected with biotechnology by means of modules dealing with agriculture. Firstly, the provision of better quality food aims to eradicate hunger in wide areas of Asia, Africa and Latin America. Secondly, sustainable economic growth is based on the awareness of the effects of human activities over the world's biological and geo-climatological diversity.
