Democracy and Governance

Overview

The “Masters in Democracy and Governance” requires that the student acquire critical capacity in areas such as the following:

* Knowledge of the democratic operation of the State.
* Analysis of democratic political institutions and politicians.
* Explanation of the territorial organization (supranational, national and subnational) of contemporary governance.
* Understanding the implications of choosing between the possible formulas for collective decision making.
* Justification, limitations and scope of the exercise of power.
