Private Equity Law
Overview
The Masters in Private Equity Law offers the possibility of consolidating and specializing some of the important issues that face us today in Private Equity Law. USAL provides an interdisciplinary programme, that is required to address the problems that arise in a world in which economic relations are increasingly global in nature. It is for this reason that the study of the issues raised by this program is undertaken keeping in mind the criteria, norms and instruments of several scientific branches of the legal code (Roman Law, Civil Law, Trade Law and Private International Law). Although they exist autonomously, the principles of these branches of Law must be applied jointly when approaching problems associated with economic trade law.
The Masters stands out not only by the depth with which it addresses the various issues but also by its arrangement, development and execution of the themes and practices from a multidisciplinary and international perspective.
From a professional perspective, the programme addresses issues of great interest in the practice of Law when dealing with matters of substantive law, with its long history of doctrine and jurisprudence, and places emphasis on the formulation and processing of legal concepts and the development of the current rules governing private trade law nationally and internationally.
Ultimately, the Masters in Private Equity Law aims to produce well-trained professionals in Private Equity Law, that are capable of providing a timely response to the demands of the industry that reflect the attitudes and values we aim to instill in our students (ethical and professional behaviour, self-confidence, initiative, entrepreneurial spirit and responsibility). The Masters is particularly suitable for the professional development of those in the legal profession, management consultants, for the further training of judges (being particularly suitable for the newly established Commercial Division judges) and other professionals from Spain and abroad.
