Teaching Spanish as a foreign language

Overview

This masters combines theoretical and conceptual guidelines which should govern higher education into a theoretical and practical (systematic, functional, pragmatic and discursive) approaches to teaching Spanish. Knowledge, in relation to the formal-functional structure, of the language and its social and cultural meaning is linked to the most effective and current teaching methodologies to ensure that the Masters students can successfully tackle the tasks of teaching and learning in the ELE classroom. Moreover, the curriculum pays particular attention to the critical analysis of the various factors involved in the teaching-learning process in the ELE environment (teaching materials, implementation of teaching proposals, strategies, assessment of processes and results, specific needs and intentions of those that take Spanish learning programmes, etc.).
