Geo Mapping in Engineering and Architecture

Overview

The University Master's Degree in Geo Mapping in Engineering and Architecture, jointly organised by the University of Salamanca and the University of Valladolid, consists of three modules. Each of these three main modules will target the basic phases of a Geomatics Project in Engineering or Architecture:

  • Data entry
  • Data processing
  • Application of data to the specific field of engineering or architecture in question

The Master's Degree is based on a mixed system with both lectures and distance-teaching. Minimum class attendance will consist of three working sessions that will take place at the beginning, the middle and the end of the academic year. Moreover, the educational approach involves the fulfilment of different papers and tasks by the students, so, consequently, is based on continuous assessment. Therefore, constant dedication to the learning methodology is essential, whether the student adopts a method based on class attendance or whether he or she opts for a distance teaching alternative.
