Overview
It is the responsibility of the innovation and infrastructure committee to establish the technology policy of the university. It is imperative to employ a physical and logical infrastructure which facilitates those university processes such as training, research and management that may well benefit from technology and its applications.
Associated Services
Digital University
The Digital University is supported by the innovation and infrastructure committee that aims to enhance the e-Learning service offered by the USAL, this is, the institution's strategy for online training. The innovation and infrastructure committee is responsible for the on-line campus Studium to which technical support is offered. Also, the committee offers training, counselling and many other services related to e-Learning, which are aimed at the University as well as other institutions or companies.
Department of Open Knowledge (OCA)
OCA is the Department of Open Knowledge whose task is to ensure the functioning of the open source system at the USAL. This service facilitates the spread of academic Knowledge within the University environment.
Technological Multimedia Centre (TMC)
The TMC is the team that assists the development of multimedia applications and digital contents of the Universidad de Salamanca by means of online and offline supports.

The Digital University Strategy 2010
This is a strategy implemented by the USAL that aims to facilitate teaching, research and management in the Digital era, by providing a new set of integrated and coherent solutions to promote free-learning.

GREDOS
GREDOS is an open access repository of a wide range of university documents (e.g. hisorical, scientific, institutional or educational documents) which you can either consult or download.
Diarium
Through Diarium every memeber of the University Community and the different centres, departments, groups or services can have easy access to blogs and personal webpages of the USAL.
OpenCourseWare (OCW)
Thanks to OpenCourseWare everyone can freely access, through the Net, their own learning materials (i.e. courses or full modules).
USAL IT
USAL IT is the entry point to the online services offered by the USAL to its users who can manage all the different resources and backup data.
